OVERVIEW
Simple enough to feature the full range of buttery flavors that our Wagyu Hamburger brings to directly from the ranch to your table. You could salt and pepper these beautiful burgers to taste, but we don't that's necessary!
- Prep time: 10 minutes
- Cook time: 10 minutes
- Yield: Serves 2-3 Burgers depending on burger weight desired
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound Wagyu Ground Beef
- Hamburger toppings as desired
STEP-BY-STEP DIRECTIONS
- Preheat grill: Preheat your grill for high direct heat.
Note: If you don't have a grill you can use a well-seasoned grill pan or a large cast iron pan on the stove-top. Heat on high to sear and then lower the heat to finish cooking. Make sure to use your stove vent, this way can smoke up the kitchen!
- Place burgers on a hot grill:
On each side for 3-4 minutes. Lightly salt with kosher salt or lemon pepper (my favorite) then remove from the grill and wrap in foil for approximate 2-3 minutes which should give you medium rare. The longer you leave it in the foil the more it cooks.
- Tent with foil and let rest:
Place the burger on a cutting board, tent with foil and let rest for 2-3 minutes. The longer you leave it in the foil the more it cooks.
- Finish & Enjoy!
You can test with a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the burger. Pull the meat off the grill at 115°F to 120°F for rare, 125°F medium rare, 140°F for medium. The meat will continue to cook in its residual heat.
